Membership
Importance of Membership and why it matters:
While membership in a local church is not specifically commanded, it is definitely implied (The doctrine of the Trinity that God exists as Father, Son, & Holy Spirit is never specifically mentioned or explained in the Bible, but it is definitely implied.). We see this implication about membership in several ways in the Scriptures –
In the New Testament:
- people were commanded to meet together on a regular basis
- people in the church practiced accountability with each other
- people were commanded to submit to church leadership
- the spiritual leaders were charged with protecting their flock from false teachings
Membership Dinner is the second wednesday of every month at 5:30 PM. If you are interested in joining the church please sign-up below to attend a Membership Dinner.
