Wellness & Security
For the protection of all children please keep your child home if ANY of the following are present: fever, vomiting, discharge in or around the eyes, green or yellow runny nose, excessive coughing, diarrhea, questionable rash, signs or symptoms of any communicable disease.
Your child should be fever free for more than 24 hours before coming to church.
If your child is being treated with antibiotics, please be sure they have been treated for at least 24 hours before coming back to church.
Rock Bridge Kids is committed to providing the safest environment possible. We follow strict check-in and checkout policies.
ALL volunteers are carefully screened and must pass a Multi-State Criminal and National Sex Offender background check.
Trained Security Volunteers are posted throughout the Ministry Center during all services.
Please DO NOT lose your parent retrieval tags! No child will be released from his or her classroom without a matching security tag. We ask that parents wear their retrieval stickers while in the Ministry Center during and after the services for security purposes. The tags are exclusive to your family and your visit.
If you lose your retrieval tag please be prepared to show your driver’s license to a staff member or volunteer coach before your child will be allowed to leave their classroom.
If for some reason your child were to need you during the service, we will flash your child’s first name and their security code on the screen. Please come immediately to your child’s classroom with your retrieval tag and one of our staff or volunteers will assist you.
*For the safety and security of ALL the children we ask that parents do not enter the classrooms! Please drop your child off at the classroom door.
Each classroom is equipped with emergency backpacks that include first aid kits, Children’s Ministry staff contact information, and evacuation plan instructions. The Preschool classrooms and nurseries are equipped with their own emergency exit and walking ropes for the children’s safety as well as evacuation cribs for the younger non-walking children.
Special Needs If your child has any allergies or special needs please let us know during Check-In so we can ensure your child is provided the best care possible!
