Helpful Information and Frequently Asked Questions:
On Sunday, December 5th, we will have a LESS IS MORE offering. We ask everyone to begin praying about what God is asking you to give. When giving, please print “Less is More” on the memo line of your check. We want to ensure that your gift is directed to the correct fund. We encourage everyone to prayerfully give on Dec. 5th as part of the "Less Is More" offering.

Are we asking for new pledge commitments?
This is not another “pledge” campaign. We are just asking for a “collective” gift on this particular Sunday. People can indicate a commitment to give an amount over the next 12 months. So either a one-time gift or series of ongoing gifts can be given. This is completely up to the giver to decide how best for them to participate.

What if I can’t give on December 5th?
You may give at anytime. Our desire is simply to follow the biblical examples of special offerings, when churches collected special offerings for God’s eternal purposes.

What is the current status of the Next Step giving campaign?
Right now our projections show that we are finishing the campaign with about 70% of pledge commitments received ($3.15 million of $4.5 million pledged). We understand that this is due to the economic recession and its strain on many of us.

How will Rock Bridge pay for the debt from the construction once the campaign concludes?
We have always anticipated paying for a portion of the debt from our regular operating funds as part of our annual budget.
